Course Description

As the name suggests, this course is an introductory course in Aerospace Engineering. In this course, we will learn various aspects of Aerospace Engineering, for example, lift force generation, thrust production procedures, structural components of an aircraft, aircraft performances, and so on. 

 

 

Course Content

History of aviation and spacecraft, Earth atmosphere and gravitational field, Anatomy of Flight vehicles, Bluff body, streamlined body and airfoil, Lift generation, L/D ratio, Aerodynamic forces, Aircraft performances, Aerospace material and structural layout, Flight envelop and V-n diagrams, Instrument and navigational aids, Exposure to Flight testing
