EE641A: Advanced Engineering Electromagnetics

Course Content

Transmission line theory; Greens function and integral transform techniques; Wave propagation and polarization parameters; Reflection and transmission across an interface; Waveguides, cavity resonators; Scattering by cylinders, wedges, spheres etc. Geometric theory of diffraction.

  • Visualization of electromagnetic fields and their interaction with environment
  • Understanding of mathematical tools and techniques used to solve EM problems
  • Application of Electromagnetics to solve engineering problems at radio frequencies.
